South Kihei Sugar Beach
Feel the sand beneath your toes and walk on one of the longest stretches of beach in Maui. If you walk the whole 3 mile stretch you will find yourself at Kihei’s Sugar Beach, which is a great place to gaze at the sunset with your loved ones. Hang a hammock in the trees and spend the day reading a book in the shade, take a break to swim, watch the Sea turtles or the whales breach in the Winter months.
North Kihei Beach and Coastal Bordwalk
Great 500m boardwalk with lots of interesting information board to read along the way. Easy walk on well built walkway. Great birdwatching area aside from the major roadway running right through the habitat. Also provides beach access where several tide pools can be found in the rocks and the kids enjoyed looking for sea creatures.
